Line art drawing

Learn to identify the main shapes of a bird’s head and draw confidently with a pen, skipping the pencil sketch.

Watercolor painting

We'll use watercolor to add some vibrant color to the sketch, detailing the feathers and bringing those textures to life.

Hi, I am Sofia! 

I’m a graphic designer and illustrator with many years of experience. But my true creative journey truly took off when I combined my two passions: sketching and birdwatching! Inspired by the vintage journals of nature explorers, I wanted to capture my fascination with birds in the same raw and personal way.

I know that with a busy life, we can’t always spend as much time outdoors as we want, and I think drawing birds is a way to stay connected to nature. For me each sketch felt like a little escape, bringing the beauty and tranquility of the bird world into my daily life 🙌

I loved it so much that I challenged myself to draw one bird every day throughout 2024. Now I have so many tips and ideas to share! That’s why I’m creating a full course to guide you step by step and make drawing birds easy and fun. I truly believe anyone can enjoy nature and express themselves through art – even if you’ve never picked up a pencil before!
